Anson day 56

Today I got up at ten to go to a print making work shop but before I left I tried to take some money out of the change purse and I shouldn't have. The work shop was fun but slow. When I got home I made pasta without permission then fried plantains without permission to. Then when the girls got back without there mom and they couldn't get into the unit I climbed on the wall and into the unit to unlock the door for them. Then we watched a movie and when it ended we went to look for there mom. We then found her at Angalinas gardens. Then as a family mom John Griff and I went to dinner at Remonas. After a great meal when we got home mom graciously let us watch a movie. But after mom said to go to bed we argued with her and messed around.

Griffin day 55

Went out in the kayak with John for his yelapa then and now shot but he thinks that it needs to be in late afternoon. We went and flew and I got a 35 minute flight and got to 1205 ft over the ocean. After I landed John and I kitted for awhile but John went into the lagoon electronics and all so I helped him get his stuff in rice and get his wing dry. Once we were done we went to Shambala for dinner. After dinner I took Alfonzo's son for ice cream.

Griffin day 56

Woke up and got ready for yoga with mom. She wanted it filmed so we took Johns contour and the Handy Cam and filmed the teacher. After yoga I hung out on the beach with mom while John did another flight with Dan. They both came and landed at the hotel Lagunita and ate lunch with us. After we ate we went home and I grabbed my wing and hiked up the mountain. I got a 15 minute flight, reached 1380 ft and got to the lighthouse hill before I landed. Went back up and got a 43 minute flight and got to 1370 ft but this time I stayed over launch. Hiked up again with Dan's Gradient Delite and got a 30 minute flight. After I landed we packed up Dan's wing for travel and went to dinner and brought his wing to where he was eating. We ate at Ramona's.

Anson day 54

Today got up and went up to the Sasha and Sofia's room. They invited me to go horse back riding. An hour later I was on a horse on my way to the water fall with them. the horses got off track sometimes but we finally got there and I was sneezing uncontrollably. So then we went for a swim and I wish I had never rode on the horses because I could not stop sneezing. On the way back had trouble breathing. When I got back I relaxed till we went to dinner at tacos Yolanda with David.

Alison Day 57 March 31 Saturday

Relaxing on the beach! (for an hour) Then we went to a 2pm Mass for Little Alfonso's 3rd Birthday Confirmation at the Inglesia. It was beautiful. Isis and Sied were helpers and Cynthia stood up with the family. The priest had just lost his father a few days earlier so the congregation was very loving to him. It was so special seeing Erik and Rosie singing and playing guitar and tamborine together. He loves music and it shows in his smile. This is such an incredible community and seeing them
Playa Birthday Party for Alfonso's Grandson and 200 of his closest friends. This was the most incredible party I have ever seen. All the women helped in serving over 6 courses of food to over  200 people. It began with Fruit Water then Shrimp Ceviche next was chicken pasta salad ***** to die for ice cream was after that (Vanilla, Chocolate chip and Chocolate) Birthday Cake and then the finale was pastor tacos from Tacos Y Mas with the spit and everything!!! It was a thing of beauty. All while 4 pinata's, musical chairs, a balloon game, dancing game and simon says were played on. The goodie bags were amazing and once again we tried more Mexican chocolates, treats and sweets then we needed to know existed. Music and all the folks were so much fun and entertaining. Griffin and Cynthia shared a dance that was super sweet and since I know he doesn't read my blog I can tell you about that!!! See John' pic. Adios Amigos.

John Day 55 March 29th Yelapa Mexico

Wet day today.

I read some of Garden of Beasts.

Griffin and I kayaked out to get the Now photo of a Then and now set I am doing of yelapa. This photo was taken in 1961.

This one yesterday. I need to go out in the late afternoon and try more angles.

Griffin and I hiked up for a flight.

I have a nice 1 hour plus flight.

After landing I Kitted for 20 minutes or so until I kited my self into the lagoon. All electronics included. I have tried my phone a it works but everything else is still in rice till tonight.

I then got to kite my wet wing for 2 hours to get it dry.

We then went to Shamhbala for diner. After diner we talked to Alfonso for awhile. Griffin took Alfonso's son for Ice Cream.

Griffin, Alison and I played gin while Anson worked at Shamhbala.

We watched some family TV and then off to Bed.

Griffin day 54

Got up and started the hike to launch after laying on the beach for awhile. Expected.to do 2-3 flight but on my first one I got to 1370 ft and it was 40 minutes long. My landing approach was perfect and my touchdown was perfect but when I killed the wing I didn't kill it all the way so on the way down it flipped over and went into the water. Luckily there were 5 people watching me land that were willing to help me pull it out of the water. After I finished drying my wing we went to tacos Yolanda for dinner with David and it was amazing.

I read all day until we went to Brisas for dinner. I finished Dune Messiah and continued the Hobbit from where I left off.

Alison Day 55 March 29 Thursday

Great day chillaxing on the beach reading! Did a little work on the lending library. The units are pretty full so that is tough going. Hung out with Sonja and Anson hung with the girls. Went to Shambhala for dinner with John and Griffin. Put up mosquito nets for the girls, Griffin got a key for Brisas from Rosie. We chatted with Alfonso and Birita after dinner. Sied and Griffin  went for Ice Cream. Anson worked at Shambhala. Lots of Garcis rentals there tonight. Watched some TV with the boys played a bunch on Gin (I spanked them) Off to bed. John Day 54 March 28th Yelapa Mexico

Full day today.

Alison had Phone calls and Board meetings.

I read and waited for my customers to arrive. They showed up at 12. They went down the beach to get ready and came back 45 minutes later. Carson, Ryan and Ola walked to launch with me. I flew Carson 55lbs 1st, Hike-up for Ryan but it was to windy. We waited a hour and then Ryan and I went. Hike up and Ola and I did a low wind forward.

Helpped a little in Casa Corral 3.

Went and picked up the Laundry from Ley / ISIS.

Took a shower. MetDavid for Dinner at Tacos Yolonda. Walked up to Tacos y Mas for Flan and Pie.

Off to Bed.

Anson day 52

Today got up at 7:20 to work at the water purification plant and then I helped deliver the water to the houses. We did that for 1:30 then on the way back going down the hill  the gas died so we went down the hill and then Victor went and got gas wile I stayed with the ATV and the empty water jugs. When I got back to the house nobody was here so I read and relaxed till dinner when I went to work at tacos y mas. When I got there we cleaned the tables and chairs and got the food ready to cook. Then we served dinner which was fun then after closeing  up we ate. Then I walked to poker and watched them play.

Alison Day 54 March 28 Wednesday

Conference Call with the BRC, Massage with Dana, Lunch at Lagunita (with Crazy actor) Tons of Tandems for John, Dinner with David Lord at Tacos Yolanda and Avocado Pie and Flan for dessert at Tacos Y mas! Picked up laundry. Anson rode horses with the girls.It was a great bachelor party and time spent with David. dos mas dias till he is married!!! Adios Amigos.

Anson day 53

Today I got up and sat in bed because I didnt want to get up I crawled out of bed at eleven and got ready to go to a print work shop. When I got there to see if I could do the class and she said no because they were full I asked her name and her name was ANSON!!!!!!!!! she said it was a family and they have used it since they could remember. They came from England and we are part Irish if I am correct so we my be related.  After that I went home and swam with Sofie, Sasha and sat on the beach for a while. Then I went to la Pelona and swam with the girls there to. After we got back we sat around and played soccer till we went to dinner.

Griffin day 52

Went to Shambala for Birria stew then went up the hill. Got a sled ride then went back up the hill again and got an amazing 50 minute flight. I got to 1350 ft over the ocean and almost got to the lighthouse hill but didn't quite make it so I had to go and land. On my landing I ended up to far back and part of my wing got wet. Spent the rest of the day trying to dry my wing in high wind, it wasn't very much fun. After mom and John got home we got ready and went to the passion flower for Asian night and poker. I started poker with 100 pesos and left the table with 615 pesos. It was a pretty good night.

Griffin day 51

Woke up and went to the Garcia house for breakfast. It was all of the tortillas that were leftover from the party the night before. They sliced them up and fried them to almost make Frito's then put them in salsa. After breakfast John and I went home and got our wings to fly. John launched and got a 22 minute flight but when I tried to launch my wing caught on the front left streamer and I crashed into the bushes. It took me Johns entire flight to get out but I launched as John landed and still got a 20 minute flight. When I landed John got to launch and I met up with Dan and we went up and both got 5 minute flights. We went up again and got another 5 minute flight. After flying we went to tacos Medina for dinner.

Alison Day 53 March 27 Tuesday

Laundry Drop with John (Maybe the last), Eclipse Cafe Pancake Breakfast! Hung out on the beach and met new neighbors from Portland Oregon Sonya, Sasha (10) and Sophia (12)- Anson toured the girls to the waterfall and played soccer on the beach. Sasha banged up her toe pretty bad on a rock she was a trooper. Went to Brisas for dinner with the girls. It was truly delicious as always! Grimm bed. Left hip was killing and I don't know why? Can't believe only 7 more dinners in Yelapa! Anson got into a printmaking class for Friday! Adios Amigos.

John Day 52 March 26th Yelapa Mexico - Light House

Big Flying Day today.

Started at shamhbala for berria Stew.

Then Hiked up and flew down.

Back up and Launched at 1:18, Made it to 1000 over launch so I tried to go to morning launch and found the Air turbulent so went back over afternoon launch and got up to 1000 over the ocean. Headed for the ridge in front of the light house.

Made the Bay crossing! Then surfed up above the light house.

Nice new view

1 hour over low launch, 1 hour over light house ridge.

I then Crossed back over the bay to low launch. It was trashy so I went and landed at the Hotel.

Hung out with Alison on the beach.

We are now getting ready for dinner and poker.

Alison Day 52 March 26 Monday

Yoga with Gabriella and the day at Lagunita!!! Patti is a 85 year old woman that came to yoga. (She was Charlie at the Valentines Ball) What an inspiration! Ate at Shrimp Burger and some fires yum yum. Read Cutting For Stone. Met Josh and Kristie teachers from Chicago. And Darlene too. Thai food at Aprils Passion Garden Flower, When Harry Met Sally and then a long long long game of Texas Hold'em. Late to bed!

John Day 51 March 25th Yelapa Mexico

Today started with Anson coming home and saying Eric was sick and I need to open the office, and we are invited to Breakfast at the Garcia House.

I set up the Umbrellas and Chairs, Then off for Breakfast delight.

After Breakfast we went to Shamhbala to tell raymond no Berria today for us. He said he would keep 3 for tomorrow.

Griffin and I hiked up, I got 22 Minutes griffin got a tree and then 20 minutes.

I hiked up again and got :58 minutes.

Griffin hiked up with Dan. I saw there landings.

I hiked up and got a :5 min flight

I hiked up and was on a sledder until angus house. Scratched for :20 at -300 ft, then made it to 300 over. It got choppy so i pushed out front and the wing picked up. after landing I almost went in the lagoon. While I was packing 1 umbrella was blown out of the sand.

John Day 50 March 24th Yelapa Mexico

up at 8, got ready to go to the islands, luis picked us up at 9,deigo and daniel were already on the boat. we went to the islands and they set up trolling lines. almost caught something in the first few minutes and then no bites. after an hour or so we went ashore and did the photo shoot. next we snorkeled.on the way back we saw 2 whales.do a total of 4.

after getting back I hiked up for a flight,  

on my way up for a second flight I ran in to serigo cleaning a ditch.i jumped in.griffin, david, pamela and one other ended up in the project.

then up for a second flight

met dan and jill for vancouver in the landing zone

anson and I went for a long swim in the ocean, the cat in the hat yacht was back in the bay
off to the showers.

we met erics family at the top of the stairs and walked to manguitos for diner,i had chicken fajitas, we talked large catholic families, travel to usa, age between brothers, erics job at chicos bar.i brought up my friends of yelapa fly in idea.

we the walked home, anson pushed the stroller most of the way and griffin finished.


when back at the top of the stairs eric invited us to his nieces 18th birthday party, large party at the garcia house I went to say hi to senor garcia and luis had me sit with him.hours later and another diner, we talked beach cleaning, wood working, friends of yelapa, kindle, paule's walks, home schooling, 


while talking to alfonso some one needed a doctor outside, was a large gringo that was having a bad trip or something, maybe we will find out to day, it was bad, alison did a good job till the lady became histerical we decided to take the four of us out of the equation.

Anson day 50!!!!

Yesterday we got up to go to the Tres Marietas islands. At 9:15 we all got on a boat and he has a new boat which is nicer but smaller. When we got there we went fishing but didn't catch anything like last year:( . So then we pulled up to the beach and then took pictures and video for the web site. after that we cruised around for a little bit and Jonathon made salsa and guacamole. Then we went snorkeling and swam to a different beach  when we were back on the  boat we ate the salsa and guacamole which was great. Then we went back to Yelapa got ready for dinner with Eric. We went to dinner at El Mangitos which was great.

Griffin day 50

I got up and got ready to go on Luis's boat. We left and went straight to the Las Marietta's. Once we arrived near the islands we started trolling around. After we were out for awhile we finally went to the beach. We hung out on the beach then got back in the boat and drove around to another beach that we a swam to through a rock arch. We skull got back into the boat and went home. At home I sat around on the beach for awhile then went home and sat in the hammock until John landed. We hiked to Shambala where Sergio was cleaning out shit creek. We helped out until it was finished. We finished our hike and both got really good flights. Mine was 25 minutes and Johns was 13. We went to dinner Eric and family at Mangito's. After dinner we went to a birthday party at the Garcia house. On our way home there was a lady passed out do mom helped bring her to conciseness before we left.

Alison Day 51 March 25 Sunday

Woke up to Anson throwing us the office keys saying that Erik was sick and we needed to put out the chairs etc. Also we were invited for a version of Frito Pie for Breakfast with the Garcias. We headed over and had a lovely time with the family. Spent the day on the Beach reading and relaxing. Got some Yoga guests checked in and visited with David Lord. (He will be married sometime this week) Showered and now off to Medinas Taqueria for Sunday Dinner. What a great couple of days spent with the Garcias Y familia!!! Adios Amigos.

Griffin day 49

Today we got up earlier than normal so we could film Las Marietta's with Daniel and Diego but it was canceled so they could do more units. John and I finished cleaning the beach then we flew. We sat on launch for a couple hours before it got launchable. We both got 15 minute flights then got ready for dinner with Luis and his family. They meet us at the top of the stairs and we walked to Mangito's. I had the pasta with chicken and it was delicious.

Anson day 49

Today got up a little earlier so we could go to the island and to the light house. But they canceled it so they could take pictures here. So then I went up to Paco but he didn't need me so I  went to the water purification plant and helped deliver water and ice to houses. Then when I got home nobody was here so I read and when Griff got home I cut up the water melon. Then after I read for a little bit we went to dinner with Luis's familial at El Mangeto which was great

Alison Day 50 March 24 Saturday

Woke up for the big boat trip to the Tres Mariettas Islands with Luis, Johnathan, Diego, Daniel and the Boys for a day of filming for the video. Gaucomole and ceviche made the trip amazing. Did some great snorkeling and saw incredible colorful fish. Saw whales on the way there and a mom and baby on the way back. They are "immigrating" longer than usual because the babies are smaller. Got back around 2:30, took a one hour siesta and then hit the beach to read until shower time about 5:30. We are headed back to Manguitos with Erik, Rosie and Galilia for dinner. Creme chicken here I come. We were invited to attend Brisas (Kieta's daughter) 18th Birthday at the Garcia house. It was amazing to attend such a happy event. All of her friends were lovely. Found out Poochini is 15 years old. Visited with Pedro (Principle at Anson's school) and all the family. Had an incident on the way out with an American that had smoked some bad pot laced with Cocaine and Hash and she was incoherent. It was very scary for the boys, but a true life lesson of why you don't do drugs. Pigged out with John on our goody bag of Mexican chocolates and battled a tummy ache most of the night. John Day 49 March 23rd Yelapa Mexico

day started with me raking the beach.

we were suppose to go to the tres Marietta's islands today but that got rescheduled for Saturday

so I read rage on the beach.

griffin and I hiked to launch and waited 2 hours for the gusts to calm down, then got a nice 36 minute flight. I landed at the hotel where alison was tanning.

alan had launched from tapa and was surfing the ocean side on the light house ridge

alison and I walked home and I finished rage.

we walked up the stairs and met luis and family on the path.we all walked to manguitos for dinner had fajitas.

luis called leek to come and pick up his daughter on the atv.

the rest of us walked home and went to bed.

Anson day48

Today got up and went to school again and did English class and played soccer then After lunch I read till school was over and then watched them dance and do lessons. Then I walked home with my friends and they said they would come play soccer at four but they never came so I played with some other people till dinner time came and then as a family we went to the movie theater and had enchiladas which were great!!

Anson day 46

`Today went back to school and helped teach again which is always fun and then we played volley ball after lunch. Better then I am in the water and a got a battle wound because I dove for the ball and and hit it up so Alldito could it it over and we got a point but I skidded on the ground and got some road rash. when I got home I read for a wile and then John mom and I went to Janet's but they weren't open so we got buttered corn and flan. Then we went to pollo bollo for dinner!!

Anson day 45

Today was my first day back in school in awhile but I helped teach the older kids English. After that I had lunch and then we played soccer and our team won. then I walked home and read and played soccer on the beach. We ate dinner at yaloda tacos and they were great like always. not much longer till we leave .  Then we played poker and I was up 200 pesos and lost it all :(

Griffin day 48

I didn't do much today until John and I went to fly. We went up around 1:00 and there were two pilots on launch. PV Chris and Alan with a passenger. PV Chris went first and had an extended sled ride. John went next and didn't have any longer of a flight. Alan and I waited for the cycles to improve while John hiked back up the hill. Alan and passenger were about to go when John got up top. Alan had me anchor his passenger since she was really light. After Alan went John laid out and got another long sledder but I launched seconds after him so we were in the air together. After flying we went and ate at a restaurant we've never been to before. It was pretty good.

Alison Day 49 March 23 Friday

Hung out at Lagunita for lunch met Jessie Rose and her friend. Ate a Shrimp Burger and Limonada! Muy Bueno. Lounged until John landed next to me. He talked to a guy about 6 tandems in the next couple of days. Went to Manguitos for dinner with Luis, Marisole, Jocelyn and Joally. I got to hang with the baby and play Uno with Jocelyn.  It was so fun to hear all their great stories. Marisole is such a great mother and Luis is an amazing father.

John Day 48 March 22nd Yelapa Mexico

day again started with raking the beach.


i then read some more of rage. 


started making ceviche. 


then hiked the hill 4 times flew 3 times and walked down once.


Then finished the ceviche.


Went to a new place for dinner food was good price was great.

Went and worked with Paco at the Rosewood gallery, helped make a 12 inch bowl. I was invited to help at tacos y mas so I went home and helped John on the beach before I got ready to go to work. I helped by cleaning tables and ordering and running drinks after I sat people. after we closed Paco, Elder and I went to the yacht club.

Alison Day 47 March 21 Wednesday

Beach! Tons of sun. Anson taught and school and Griff worked at the Rosewood Gallery with Paco and Javier. He then worked at Tacos y mas for dinner. We went to Janets and got corn with butter, yogurt and cheese and chocolate cake with flan on top. Pollo Bollo for dinner with the best server ever Erik!!! Got to see most of the Garcia family tonight and made dinner plans with Erik and Rosie for Saturday at Brisas!! Great day once again in Yelapa. So happy and grateful to be here. Dos mas semanas and then mi casa in Colorado. Boo Hoo!!! Adios AMigos.

John Day 46 Yelapa Mexico

Lazy day today.

Had planned to Fly the upper morning launch today but woke up to clouds and onshore wind at 10 mph.

Went to the Rose wood shop with Griffin. Then to Rosie's for a haircut.

Down to the Hotel for Nachos and Beach time with Alison.

I took a nap while she did yoga. I read a little of Roadwork.

While Alison got a massage I waled home and made Lemonada.

Took Anson to Rosie's for a haircut.

Moved the wireless at the units to the front of the building.

Griffin day 46

Woke up and the weather wasn't good enough to fly so I went up to the rosewood shop with John to see what Paco was up to. We got there at the same time so we helped him set up then John filmed him make some stuff then went and got a haircut while I polished some vases. After we closed shop we went and ate some fried chicken at his house. I went home and watched a little of the walking dead until John got home. I helped him make some limeade then continued watching after we helped Eric move the internet antenna. We went to Shambala for dinner. We came home to find a huge scorpion on moms bedside table.

Griffin day 45

Woke up and started hiking up Tapita. I got a 30 minute flight but I was getting pushed back so I went and landed. After I was packed up I went inside and read until we went and ate dinner at tacos Yolanda. When we finished we walked over to the passion flower gardens for poker night. I won 130 pesos and only Anson lost any money.

Alison Day 46 March 20 Tuesday

Last day of Linen Laundry! Can't believe it. Tuna salad sandwich for lunch. Hung out at Lagunita on loungers with John just chilling and reading. Yoga this afternoon. A fabulous Dana Massage. John Colored my hair. Both Anson and John got hair cuts from Rose (They look great!!!) Dinner at Shambahla with the boys.

John Day 45 March 19th

Today started with setting up the chairs.

Alison and I went over and toured Casa Santana.

Up to Raymond's to Confirm 12PM Tandem with Alexandra.
Griffin and I hiked up with Alexandra. Left a radio with Raymond.
We did a nice forward Launch. Raymond was able to watch from in front of the Garcia Houses.

Griffin got a :30 minute flight
After Landing I hiked back up. had a great 1:05 flight. Lift was consistence so I would get 300 over head over bay, do some wing overs or something and back to the ridge -90 ft.
Last time I got to 800 over, pushed out over ocean. Plan to spiral then back to ridge. But had a great time so held it to 200 over the ocean.
Landed, Met Chris from Denver.
Hiked back up and Got a 3rd flight.
Showered, and off to Tacos Yolanda for dinner.
Talked to Alfonso, Discussed tandems. He said to do it. He had not talked to Chris yet.
We then went to Poker night at Passion Flower. I finished 250 up, Anson Down 200, Alison and Griffin up.

Alison Day 45 March 19 Monday

Monday was a great day as usual here in Yelapa!
Highlights were the day ended with Texas Hold-em at Passion Garden Flower-I was up $350 (Pesos) that is! Ate at Tacos Yolanda and Ice Cream at Jocelyn's. Day was spent on the beach chatting with guests, David and Familia! John flew Raymon's daughter Alexis and she did awesome. Pancake breakfast from John with Bacon yum yum! Tuna fish salad for lunch with David Lord and the boys!

John Day 44 March 18th

Full day today.

Again started with setting up the chairs and Umbrellas.

Did some blog work and other computer work.

Up to Shambhala for some beef stew. Birria

Talked to raymond about his daughter missing our tandem appointment. Will try again for Monday.

Helped out some more at the office.

We then went to to up river waterfall as a family. Took lots of Video and Photos. It is a 1 1/2 hour walk there. We spent an hour or so. with dinner a 6 hour round trip.

Finally found a Pig!

Walked back to manguitos for dinner. I had chicken Fajitas.

Elaine owns land with big trees and tent.

Home to blog and go to bed.

Alison Day 44 March 18 Sunday

Boys fished in the AM with Friends, John opened the office and I ate Birria at Shambhala. Walked to the waterfall after checking in some guests. Dinner at Manguetos and a walk up river to the beach. Beautiful sunset and ran into Dana.

Griffin day 44

So today I woke up at 6:30 this morning to go fishing with Dennison, Edson and their dad Deline. Anson knew Dennison through his trips to the school but had never really connected so when I saw him at Brisas Restaurant (he is part of the family) I asked if he would take us fishing in his boat, he said yes. We met them on the pier at 7 and went south down the coast about 30 minutes to Rocca Iglesias. We caught between 2 and 3 dozen fish in a 3 hour period. It was a lot of fun and we took home 5 of them for ourselves. After we got home we went to Shambala for their Birria stew which was awesome. Eventually we went to the upper waterfall and hung out there for awhile. We went to El Mangito for dinner.

Anson day44

Today I woke up at 6:37 and went fishing with dennison and his brother Edson and there dad. We then cuat 3 dozen fish!!! then on the way back we stop and saw wales and turtles. They gave us 5 fish and john is going to make salsa. Got home and had biria stew with rice. then went to the upper water fall which was small but cool. had a good dinner at mangetos. going to play soccer and watch  TV.

Anson day 35-43

Sorry that I have not been doing more on my blog but I've been putting it off for a while. This wont be as detailed as it should be if i was doing it every day. So pretty much we have been helping the Garcia's a lot and hanging with friends from Canada (aye). They have a girl named Verna and she is 17. She is really nice and her dad might give Griff  an internship at his summer canoe job and he hopes he can go. When they left we had our first youkur game as a family in a while and it was a lot of fun. When we got home from dinner we watched a modern family and a big bang theory which was fun.  A few nights later we ate at Shabala for dinner which had the BEST BURGER EVER!!! When we got home we played gin and I had to go to bed early to go to school at 7:30 am! When I got to school the next day I was shy but surprised because Aldidto  was there? He then helped me thru school but of course in English class everybody wanted to be my friend. Then after school Aldito and I went above the water like we did with john a few days before. After that I went home and relaxed. I did that for a few days and then we met some friends from Canada and there names were Janet, Rachel and, Shara  we went above the water fall for 3 days in a row. I was sad when they left but john has been board so it is probably a good thing. Only 2 weeks left!!!

Griffin day 43

Woke up and went straight to La Pilona with Anson, Sarah, and Rachel. We spent most of the day there and I did a couple flips. Since they were leaving we had to go down at 2:45ish. We played cards on the beach until the water taxi came. Once they left John and I took the kayak out and went around the bay for a couple minutes. We hung out at home then went to the quesodilla place below tacos y mas without Anson. It was really good. After dinner I went to Angelina's for the St. Patricks day party.

John Day 43 March 17th

Happy Birthday Art!

Today started with Opening the office.

Setting up chairs and raking the beach.

I then read until my 1:30 Tandem appointment.

Raymond was not there plus it was windy.

Had a meeting with David from Yelapa.info

Finished reading the Bone Collector.

Started Arguing the book.

Continued reading Stephen King's Roadwork.

Took a Kayak paddle with Griffin.

Went and Toured the Mansion.

Went to the Quesadilla place next to the grocery and behind Taco's y Mas.

Home to more book time Roadwork.

Alison Days 39-43 March 13 Tuesday - March 17 Saturday

Saturday March 17 St Patricks Day! Taqueria by the Billards yum yum! Grocery shopping to stock up. hung out inside most of the day a little windy.Met George and saw the beautiful Brick house by the Pier! Muy bueno on the outside not so much on the inside. It's like some big open tree house.

Friday March 16- Yoga in the AM with John. Took him to Dana's to show him her beautiful house and inversion table.Hiked around up river, afternoon nap then beach with Nancy and Malcomb Dinner at Brisas with Maine-Malcomb and Nancy and Lisa Law. Checked out their unit ours is muy bueno.Saw the inside of carriage house es no bueno and needs tons of work to get it back to life.

Thursday March 15 Dana massage and house tour. Awesome. Eclipse in the am with John for French Toast no Chiro Jim he was late and hungover and we thought not to have him CUI- (Crack under the influence) Checked out the the "carriage house" in the am. Dinner at Shambhala with the Garcias and my the grace Gustovo joined and translated beautifully for us. Best conversations ever with Pauly and Alicia. So grateful to have this opportunity with them and Yelapa.

Wednesday March 14 Tacos Yolanda with Katie and Justin Yeah they came back. Lisa Law too. Kayaked with John in the ocean and fell in love more with Yelapa and it's houses.

Tuesday March 13 Tacos Y Mas for Dinner-Bucerias for John and Griffin- Anson taught in School all day.

Griffin day 42

Woke up and went to La Pilona with Rachel and Sarah. We hung out up there for most of the day then went down and played cards until I went to Brisas Restaurant for dinner. After dinner we went back to their house and played Hearts and Gin.

Griffin day 41

We got up and got ready to go La Pilona with Janet, Rachel and Sarah. Once we all were ready we took them past the Shambala café and up the paragliding trail until it split off. La Pilona is the pool of water just above the waterfall with two cliffs and a tree that you can jump out of. After we were there for awhile Janet left to go sit on the beach while we spent a little more time up top. After we were done we went home and played cards until it was time to go to the Shambala café with Mr. and Mrs. Garcia. Gustavo came as a translator and he helped out a ton.

John Day 42 March 16th

Day started with Yoga

We then went to Dana's and looked at her yard and inversion table.

Walked up the river and back to the unit.

That night we took a tour of the Carriage House.

 We had dinner with Maine and Lisa at Briasas
